The Tennessee Warblers,  will release their debut EP on the anniversary of Bob Dylan’s Nashville Skyline with a performance of both records at the TN Brew Works on April 9, 2016.

“We all grew up on Bob Dylan and thought it would be a fun way to celebrate our roots and EP release at once.” Says Adam Dalton (Vocals & Guitar). The EP includes 4 originals and a cover of Carbondale, IL jug band The Woodbox Gang’s “Hard To Dig A Hole”. “The TN Brew Works was the home of our first gig together and it feels fitting to release these songs over a few savory pints!”, says John Beck (Vocals & Mandolin). The opening track is an upbeat lament on the gal who got away, “Mandy”, who's eyes glistened like candy. Next up, “I’ll Be Your Daddy” is a Hank Williams-esque blues romp in which a man vows to be of fatherly likeness throughout his partners life. “Restless” emotes a longing to uproot your life while knowing that in the end you never will. Beck then picks up vocal duties from Dalton to sing “Hard To Dig A Hole”; a cheery tune about digging a grave. The EP closes out with an old-time string band inviting the listener to dance and throw back Natty Light’s at “Mack Dan Rickles”!

Born from the seeds planted by the acoustic music of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, the Warblers perform roots music with a rock n’ roll heart. After pickin’ together in various bands, John Beck and Adam Dalton got together for a song co-write and the Tennessee Warblers were born. Longtime musical compadres Dean Marold (Upright Bass) and Charles Butler (Banjo & Dobro) soon joined the fold helping drive the group to new heights. From their first gig at the Tennessee Brew Works to their performances at the Nashville Predators’ 2015 Craft Beer Festival and Hot Chicken, Whiskey and Bourbon Festival at the Bridgestone Arena, the Warblers have stayed true to their mission to pull from the best of America’s roots music while also keeping a keen eye to the future.

The Tennessee Warblers make regular appearances at the Sutler Saloon as part of their Grass Fed music series and frequently perform in and around the Nashville area. For more information, promo requests or to set up an interview, please contact: adam@adamdaltonmusic.com.
